What are the characteristics of White Spring Granite
One of the most preferred countertops is white spring granite which is being quarried in Southern Brazil. Since then, it had captivated the imagination of designers all over the world with its crystal white bedrock characteristics with a touch of gray and red mineral color.
It usually produced in large quantities and is usually called White Springs Granite. If you ever thought of having this stone in your countertop or all over your kitchen surround, it surely is a great choice.
Oftentimes, it looks grayish or light cream from a distance. The distinctive mineral deposits are very visible even from a far which creates a very fascinating look. Perhaps the red mineral veins are not visible from a distance, but when you look closer, you will surely be stunned by the red accent all over the slab.
This granite has been a popular choice for most of the designers because of its pristine detailed color accent. More often than not, the gray patches is very dominant in more than the half of the stone’s overall appearance. Sometimes, the gray color varies form medium gray to light gray or slightly lighter than white bedrock. Thus it allows the gray blend in with the beautiful white bedrock to make it look natural and earthy.

One dominating feature of white spring granite is the white mineral veins the can range quite big enough sometimes in few centimeters or all over the whole slab. The bulk of the stone is either made up of black or very dark brown color which provide a beautiful contrast to the light white and gray patches of a the white spring granite.
This type of granite has a stunning array of red minerals which give a great splash to the monotone browns, whites and gray.
They may not be large (on the average of 5% – 10%) in amount of the whole mass of the stone but their occurrence makes a huge difference in its beauty. The red color accent can range from deep burgundy red or even all the way to light rosy peach. They can appear like simple little specks or they can sometime be very sparse and flecks of colors.
The mesmerizing combination of colors definitely makes the stone look great from a distance. There is a very minimal amount of variation in different slabs of this stone. It may appear variably depending on their sizes. Some are nearly covered with brown veins all over while others are barely visible. So make sure to inspect the stone closely before you buy one.

White Spring Granite may look differently depending on the light conditions. The gray patches that made up the most of the stone will react differently. When there is no natural light in the room the granite will look deeper, and when in a lighter room the lighter the grays will become. Therefore the overall appearance of countertops will depend on the rooms light condition.
